Kappa Delta's all across the nation take part in an annual Shamrock event which raises money for the organization known as Darkness to Light. Darkness to Light is an organization which helps prevent child abuse and Kappa Delta is the number one contributor to the Charleston branch of this organization.

Every chapter hosts a unique Shamrock event each year. At the College of Charleston we host an annual golf  tournament every March to raise money. Our golf tournament is held locally  and is not only an event for people of the community but it also doubles as the chapter's parents weekend.

This is Zeta Sigma's largest philanthropic event. Raising around $20,000 each year for the cause, Kappa Delta has been awarded Best Philanthropy on Campus at the College of Charleston three years running.
