Kappa Delta Sorority has always stressed the importance of academic success and our chapter is no exception. The Zeta Sigma chapter prides itself on having a strong academic backbone among our girls. Members are always striving to be the best on campus scholastically. Many of our members are students of the Honors College. And a large percentage of the girls maintain grades that earn them places on the Dean’s List consistently.
To encourage the girls to focus on academics we use rewards programs. Additionally, an academic seminar is held every semester to remind the girls of some helpful study tips. Kappa Delta study groups are very popular and effective in holding the girls accountable. You can often find Kappa Deltas studying together at the library or KD house. Academic achievement is the first step to a bright future after college and Kappa Delta wants nothing but the best for their girls!
Kappa Delta received the award for Outstanding Academics for the 2008 - 2009 school year!
